Had a great time with friends. We explored Pier 21 Theater and the Ocean Star Offshore Drilling Rig and Museum, which were awesome cultural highlights. The free shuttle to the cruise ship was a huge plus, and we appreciated the affordable parking for our vehicle while we were away. Just a heads-up, the rooms are basic but clean, so don’t expect luxury.
One downside was the front desk experience upon check-in. The staff member wasn't very welcoming, and that created a sour first impression. I hope they improve that aspect for future guests.

It was just a reliable pick for a weekend jaunt in Galveston with great value for the money. The continental breakfast was minimal, but I was able to ask for extra items when needed. Make sure to check the shuttle schedule before your trip, as it only runs on weekends.

Adequate for a Short Stay
Overall, it served its purpose for a quick getaway. The staff were friendly, but the hotel showed signs of neglect. Make sure to check your room for cleanliness before settling in. A quick drive will take you to some great nearby dining options.

Not bad for the price
So, we stayed here for a night and honestly, the place isn't terrible. The bed was super comfy, and I loved having a mini-fridge. The shady wifi situation was a bummer though, and I found a roach in the bathroom. It's cheap for memorial day weekend, but you gotta manage your expectations.

easy walking access to parks and cultural attractions
I had a great time exploring the nearby Bishop's Palace and taking a stroll through Stewart Beach Park, which was less than a 5-minute walk away, making it convenient for my weekend adventures. the affordable parking was also a nice bonus for anyone looking to enjoy the city without the hassle of high fees.

The hotel provided a nice experience overall, with a caring staff and a clean room. However, issues like the lack of an elevator and some maintenance needs detracted from the stay. Still, it was a decent spot before our cruise.

This place is a classic, and it nailed the homey vibe I love! The free shuttle to the cruise terminal was clutch, saving us from the morning traffic chaos. Plus, it’s got a quaint charm that feels like returning to simpler times. Can’t forget the quaint breakfast with those Eggo waffles and fresh fruit, perfect for fueling up before our adventure!
Now, the rooms are pretty dated and had a funky smell wafting through. The breakfast was more like snacks for kids—microwaveable waffles and wrapped pastries. We opted to hit up Whataburger nearby instead. Plus, the courtyard echoes everything, so you’re in for a wake-up call from the poolside chatter and ferry line tunes.
